Room One is about a boy named Ted who is the only 6th grader in his school of 9. Since there is one room in the school, it’s being threatened to be shut down. Ted has a bigger problem: he found a family of 3 in an abandoned farmhouse in his town that is running away from somebody trying to track them in Texas. Ted promises not to tell anybody about them, but he tells his teacher anyway. The day after he told her, the family is gone and there are tire tracks in the driveway. What happened to them? What will Ted do now?
I liked this book because at times it can get very suspenseful and mysterious. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a good mystery. I give this book a four out of four star rating.
