It was mostly about how a young farm girl named Jessie was living in a make believe town called Clifton Village, which was supposedly in 1820. Jessie and her brothers and sisters actually believed it was 1820, when it was actually 1994. The children never knew the year they were actually living in, except for the parents. When a diphtheria sickness spreads all over the Clifton village, it is up to Jessie to find the cure and save her friends and family before it is too late.

This book is an amazing adventure book. I would recommend this book because it is a thriller, and when I was reading it, I never wanted to put the book down. I was always on the edge of my seat. So I suggest that you go to your public library and read it yourself. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.
