James and the Giant Peach

By Roald Dahl

Blurb By Angela

Genre: Fantasy

James Henry Trotter lived a perfect and well life until the day his parents were killed by a rhinoceros in full day light. He was sent to live with two aunts of his who were treating him as a slave. James was not allowed to go over the fence though until one day he did and met a man. This man gave James a bag of something and told him the instruction for using it. When he got back home, he had to face the punishment of going over the fence but he was excited about what would happen. As he was racing in, he dropped the bog under the dead peach tree. The adventures await in this giant peach for James and does he know what he is getting into? Read this book to find out.

This book is a good book and I would rate it 4/5. Its kind of hilarious but sometimes hard to understand and at the same time… easy to read.  I would recommend this to children in kindergarten to 5th grade.
