Title: Lily’s Crossing

Author: Patricia Reilly Giff

Blurb By: Angela

Genre: Historical Fiction

Lily’s Crossing is about a girl named Lily.  She makes a new friend  in the middle of the summer and his name was Albert. They spend their summer swimming and playing, telling secrets, deaths they have faced, their lives, and even lies. Then, once again Lily’s number one problem on her list popped up, lying. A lie that will put Albert and her life in danger.  Lily became really worried.  Can Lily do anything to change that and save Albert before it is too late and both of them die?

This book is one of my favorite books because  it is very historical and realistic.  The book draws readers to read it and is very interesting. I would recommend this book to my friends because this book can take you to a whole different world in your mind and a glimpse of the past.  This book was filled with mystery and wonders and was really a privilege to learn about that time period in this way.  I would rate this book 5/5.
