The book Phantom Tollbooth is about a boy named Milo. This boy is mellow and silent. He comes home one day and finds that there’s a box containing a card board tollbooth. He builds it up takes his peddle car and peddles through it. In that world it’s all about words and their funny ways of saying then he goes on a secret quest. This book is fantasy and it’s true to its name. I didn’t like the book because I don’t like fantasy or science fiction, but if you like Fantasy and science fiction then you would love the book Phantom Tollbooth.

Anna and Carissa--
I loved the word play in that book as well. It really makes you think as you read. I'm glad you enjoyed it again...it's good to revisit our favorite books and see how our feelings change!

Hi Anna,
I like your book blurb about the Phantom Tollbooth. Remember last year, you, Noah, Jason and I read it in Ms. Michael's class? I relished reading your review; you summarized it nicely in just a few paragraphs. I feel that you could have given an example, so readers would be more excited to read it. However, you did a fantastic job. Keep up the good work!
