Hello!  My name is Carissa.  Welcome to my blog.  I’m really excited to start blogging because I’ve never tried it before.  I think it’s a really interesting idea to record things I’ll be doing in fifth grade, like ‘olympics’ and ‘science day’.

This year we’re in fifth grade, so we have LOTS of new things to look forward to.  Some of them are:

• Bringing home our laptops.
• Being an example to the whole school.
• Getting a “graduation” party at the end of the year for the WHOLE day!

This year, I want to learn more fun things like:

• Spanish: learning more words and sentences.
• Music: playing lots of new challenging music in orchestra.
• Encore Literacy and Tech: blogging, blogging and more blogging!
• Math: learning how to do algebra and using different methods.

A little bit about me is:

• I have never moved in my whole life.
• I have over fifty-five stuffed animals.
• I play a string instrument: the cello!
