What I’ve learned in Spanish Class

February 24th, 2011 Written by 13colleeny · 2 Comments · Spanish

Spanish class is full of fun activities and plenty of different topics. I always remember the different activities we did, because they’re educational and interesting. I learned about so many new Latin American foods. During Spanish class, we had this one project where we researched different Latin American foods. My partner and I were assigned to create a “menu” for a typical Latin American resturant.  We learned about so many delicious foods that we didn’t even know existed! I also learned about the verb Ser and its forms: soy, eres, es, somos, sois son. The verb Ser is very important in the Spanish language because it means “to be”. One of the more interesting things I learned is that there is such a thing called a Coqui frog. A Coqui frog is a frog that lives in Puerto Rico and says, “coqui coqui” several times over and over again. It is also the national frog of Puerto Rico.

I like how you explained what the topic was that you learned. I also like how you made the topics that you learned in a different color. It highlights the words and they are the words that I saw first. I really like your post and you did a nice job on it!
