Welcome to the life of Stanley Yelnats you may notice that his last name is his first name backwards. But that is not the point. The point  is he is shipped to Camp Green Lake. But when he gets there. There is no green or lake. Just a desert, but people say back then that it was green and there was a lake. Stanley gets off the bus and finds out that there is one thing you do every day dig a hole that is five feet deep and five feet wide. As he stays longer he gets used to it, gets a nickname like every one else. There is Armpit, Zigzag, X-ray, Zero, Magnet, and Squid. Stanley then goes on a dangerous path that turns in to a lucky one. Also, after your done with this go on to his sequel Small Steps.
