This book is very interesting and will get you hungry for a good chocolate sundae. In this book it thoroughly explains the manufacturing process for making ice cream. It describes step by step just like if you were actually there doing it yourself. It also tells you how to make different products like ice cream sandwiches. YUM!

I recommend this book to people that love ice cream and are curious about the creating ice cream part.

Personally I liked this book because it was very unique and I liked it’s style. It was also well written.

————————————————————————————————-

Capricorn Anderson has never heard of a wedgie or a drivers license. He only knows Garland Farm. His grandmother “Rain”, has been raising him for all his life. But when she falls out of a tree while picking plums and she has to recover from hip surgery he is forced to live with the Donnelly’s. Mrs. Donnelly is a former resident of Garland and is willing to take care of “Cap”. Cap endures a wild adventure in the middle school as he becomes a target for the bullies. But once they realize how nice and what a good friend he is he becomes suddenly their savior. What will the bully of the school Zach Powers think about this and what will he do? I loved this book because of the life lessons you learn and it’s incredible journey at Claverage or known to be C average without the l. I specifically recommend this novel to someone who loves reading books that have joyful endings. This is one of my favorite books if not my favorite and I will never forget it. I could read it again… and again… and again… and again.

I give this book 5* out of 5*.       © 2009 Jack All Rights Reserved.

Milton Hershey Lives and Times: The Founder of Hershey’s Chocolate

By: Jennifer Blizin Gillis

Book Reviewer:  Jack

Biography

You all have heard of Hershey’s Chocolate, but are you familiar with Milton S. Hershey? Milton S. Hershey was the founder of Hershey’s Chocolate. In this book it describes the important events through his life including his successes,  his challenges to hurdle and his life other than the Chocolate industry. It is very easy to read and is short and directly to the point. Milton helped influence the love for chocolate in many American lives. Mmmmm… I love Hershey’s Chocolate. Maybe one day you will create a chocolate too just like Milton S. Hershey did.

I would recommend this book for people that like Hershey’s Chocolate, for people that like reading biographies, for people who are in search for a good book to help do better on a research project and for people that like to have their mouth watering when they read.

I liked this book because it had many great facts to put in my research project.

It is 2003 and the Cardinals are playing a 3 game series vs. the Cubs (go cubs) in late season. This is a huge series for both because this series is crucial to go deep into the playoffs. Not only La Russa but also the whole entire Cardinals team along with the Cubs and manager Dusty Baker will have challenges and obstacles to overcome.
