The three girls were named Laura (oldest girl), Rebecca (second oldest girl), and Mercy. The three sons were named Lorenzo (That is also the father’s name), George, and Amos. That Indian had a friend since he was young. The friend was Peter Kelly. He is a lawyer so he could save the Indian from being hanged. He has to be hanged because people think he was the person that murdered the poor trapper even though he didn’t. Rebecca and Laura want to save the Indian from being hanged for no good reason, so Peter Kelly will try to help his closest friend! The Indian’s name was Amik but Laura and Rebecca called him Indian John. This book is fantastic!
