The book Holes is about a person named Stanley and he was arrested for stealing Clyde Livingston’s shoes. He actually didn’t steal the shoes it just fell from the sky. Well that’s what Stanley thinks. He thought destiny had dropped the shoes from the sky. But destiny didn’t. Some kid went into a homeless shelter and stole the shoes. He didn’t know they were famous and he wanted them so badly because it looked fantastic to him. He didn’t have any money because he lived on his own. The persons name was Hector, Hector Zeroni. Hector put the shoes on and ran out of the store. Cops started looking around for the shoes and they found Hector wearing them. Hector was running across the bridge and stopped, he took off the shoes and threw them over the bridge! Stanley was walking home from school and out of nowhere, the shoes from the bridge fell on him. The cops arrested Hector and the cops found Stanley on the ground with the shoes on top of him. So that means Stanley was innocent but nobody believed him. They both had to go to camp and dig holes for that accident. They weren’t digging holes for a punishment they were digging it because they were supposed to find treasure. There is more to the story but the only way to find out is to read this fantastic book!

Crooked River is about a family that captured an Indian. The reason why the family captured the Indian was because another Indian killed a trapper, but that Indian killed himself. Then, they tried to figure out who did kill the trapper so they found an Indian that was a family member of the Indian that killed himself. The Family that tried to find the Indian was three girls, three sons, and one father. They did have a mom but she died. Right after she gave birth to Mercy (youngest child), the mom died. The three girls were named Laura (oldest girl), Rebecca (second oldest girl), and Mercy. The three sons were named Lorenzo (That is also the father’s name), George, and Amos. That Indian had a friend since he was young. The friend was Peter Kelly. He is a lawyer so he could save the Indian from being hanged. He has to be hanged because people think he was the person that murdered the poor trapper even though he didn’t. Rebecca and Laura want to save the Indian from being hanged for no good reason, so Peter Kelly will try to help his closest friend! The Indian’s name was Amik but Laura and Rebecca called him Indian John. This book is fantastic!

Encyclopedia Brown about a boy that has a detective business and its in a garage. He is a detective person that helps people’s cases like a stolen violin, a stolen bike, and fake injuries. It only costs 25 cents just to make Encyclopedia to help you. There is a club called Tigers and Encyclopedia is an enemy with them! 25 cents for detective services is a good deal! I would do it for five bucks! The book is good for mysteries because its finding clues and there’s detectives. Also, Encyclopedia Brown finds out almost every case he gets! People think he is smarter than a FBI!

The bottle is called INSTA-TAN. They wanted a tan in the winter so they took it and put it on each other. Then all of a sudden, Larry started growing hair all of his body! Then Larry’s friends started disappearing! Two of Larry’s friends disappeared. Larry’s friends that disappeared were Manny and Lily. Manny moved away without telling his friends and Lily went somewhere. Lily has one blue eye and one green eye. One day, Larry found a dog that look like Lily! It had one blue eye and one green eye! And the dog had Lily’s pirate coin that her grandma gave her. Then, Larry grew hair again after he shaved it off! So he went to his parents and he told them what happened. But, his parents said that the INSTA-TAN didn’t do it. His was born a dog! Lily was born as a dog too! The reason how Larry is human is because the doctor gave him a shot every two weeks! But it just didn’t cure Larry. The shots didn’t cure any dog to become human. So Larry became a dog forever.
