For the past 3 months our grade has been making science fair projects to further our knowledge of the scientific method. We first had to chose a worthy experiment that we can learn from. I chose “Which Wing angle will permit a plane fly the longest, 155º wing angle or 175º wing angle?” I then gathered supplies (Right Flyer Kits (2) ) and wrote my procedure. After that I built the tail, the stabilizer, and the rudder as well as the wings for the 175º angle. I was ready to fly the plane with both wings because the wings can come off the fuselage. I found out that the 155º wing angle flies about 10 seconds better than the 175º wing angle.

Once my experiment was done, I typed up my conclusion and then print and pasted my headings, procedure and materials onto the display board.

I learned a lot from this experience and I enjoyed every part of it. I learned how to write a good conclusion.

Thank you for reading my project and have a good day.

Blurb By Jason

On a cool spring morning in France, two sisters, Coco and Marcelle, discover a soldier in the woods. The first World War raging not so far away, the soldier is a deserter and is blind from battle, trying to steal away home through the dark and unforgiving world. The helpless soldier becomes their only concern, and their precious secret. Every morning the sisters treat him to a satisfying “feast” and give him scarves, socks, and etc. In return of the girls hospitality, the soldier tells them heartbreaking stories. With some help from their brother and a family friend, the girls watch him safely cross the Channel to his home and grieving family. The soldier meanwhile enchants the girls with stories about bravery, loyalty, and courage- all linked to a minuscule treasure in his pocket…. a Silver Donkey.

I personally found this book heartwarming yet saddening. All in all this book is a great book and I highly reccomend this book to other kids who like friendship, historical fiction, and suspense.
