Up High in the Trees

Up High in the Trees is about a boy named Sebby. He’s 8 years old and has been through tragic times. Sebby is really shy and at the same time very courageous because he stuck through all the hard times.
Sebby’s life was really sad. His mother had died in a midnight jog with his baby sister inside the mother’s stomach. In school he gets bullied a lot and falls asleep during class. He only has four friends. But Sebby stuck his ground and tried to ignore all the harsh things. He didn’t cry or act emotional. This told me that he was a courageous boy.
This book was well told with details and it’s kind of sad how Sebby goes through such hard times and it makes you want to know what will happen next in Sebby’s life.
This is a novel for adults so some people will maybe not understand everything in the book. I recommend this book to people that has higher reading skills. This book was full of sadness and tragic events so if someone is looking for this type of book, then this is the book for you. This book is a realistic fiction book but it’s also kind of written as a biography also.

This book sounds some what hard on the character.
What time period? Does it say?
