A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Carnivorous Carnival

This book was amazing! This book is mostly about the Baudelaires dressing up like freaks. The Four main characters are: Violet, Klaud, Sunny, and Count Olaf. Violet and Klaud dress up like a two-headed freak and sunny was a wolf baby because they wanted Count Olaf to not know they were with him the whole time. My favorite character is sunny because she is little and uses a really high vocabulary. I give this book 5 stars.

WOW! This Book Was AMAZING! Right when I first started reading it I couldn’t stop reading. It’s a mystery book. This book is mainly about a girl named Claudia and a boy named Jamie who run away from home and stay secretly at a museum. They try and see if Michelangelo made the statue that Mrs. Basil E. Frankwieler sold for $225.00. There was a carving on the statue that Michelangelo puts on his statues. My favorite character is Jamie because he is like me and saves money for importance. He changes throughout the story by being very strict and not spending money and changes to realizing that he needs to spend the money for food and buses. I would recommend this to any one who likes reading calm mystery books. I give this book 5 Stars.

Ruth Spiro visited our school on January 20th, 2010. Ruth Spiro taught me to bring a notebook everywhere. I liked how she read the book to us. My family and Ruth’s have a connection of everyone doing the same thing.

The Mouse Rap
Blurb by: Michael
The book The Mouse Rap was a very suspenseful story. It’s about a kid named Mouse who has a few things going on, a talent show, singing performance, and trying to find lost loot. Mouse and his friend Styx play 2 on 2 basketball almost every day. They just kept winning games, until this one team came and lost and started a fight. Another one of Mouse’s friends, Beverly, said Mouse wasn’t scared to fight him and planned a fight the next day. A couple hours before the game Mouse and “The Gang” saw the guy who Mouse was going to fight doing something bad. You will have to read to find out what happens next. I’d recommend this book to a friend because of all of the suspense in the story. Plus it has a lot of action. I give this book a 5 star rating. Also there’s a lot of slang in it so it’s kind of hard to read if you don’t know slang.

“What may seem impossible today, may not tomorrow” – Thomas A. Edison
I enjoyed reading about Thomas Edison because he’s very interesting. I’m glad that Thomas Edison invented the T.V, Fast phone communication and the electric light because I use them almost every day. If he didn’t invent over 1,000 things life would be beyond hard because every thing he invented we use every day like light bulbs. Thomas Edison changed the world by inventing, and improving different inventions like the phonograph. I give this biography 5 stars.

Our project was a great sucsess. A.J was fun to work with because he’s really funny and great. We had to pick a poem and remake it with our voices. Are homemade sound effect was a bead necklace in a bottle with a drumstick hitting it. We got are digital sound effects from garage band. We made our own mix. My favorite part was when we finished because it was hard work.
