Written Reflection

Art is fun,

I am passionate about it,

It allows to let my creativity out.

Photography is fun,

A picture can say over a thousand words,

It lets see things that I wouldn’t have noticed before.

Reflections are many things,

There are reflections of world,

They show anger and pain.

My life is my art and passion.

The world is my inspiration,

Photography can capture happiness and depression.

Reflections reflect me.

Math Proportion Project

April 25th, 2011 Written by 13yejia · Math, Uncategorized

In Math, we had to do a project that has to do with proportions. In this project, we had to pick 2-3 choices that has a certain amount of points and you have to have a total of at least 40 points. One of my choices was called “Cartoon Characters”. For this topic I had to print out a picture of a cartoon character and measure the height and body parts and my height and multiply my height by one of the cartoon’s body part and divide it by the cartoons height to find how big each body part would be if he became my height. I did a Japanese cartoon named Totoro, and I did his leg for the example.. Example: 10in/60in = 2in/x     x = 12 in.

Para repasar: mi año en la clase de español

February 28th, 2011 Written by 13yejia · Spanish

This year we did many fun activities in Spanish. We did this very fun baby picture project where you bring a baby picture and bring it to Spanish and write a paragraph about yourself. We also played Jeopardy in Spanish! My partner and I won. :)  Another activity in Spanish I liked was when we made our own Papel Picado. One thing I learned in Spanish was the verb GUSTAR. Another thing I learned was making sentences and questions. Another fun activity we did in Spanish was the flyswatter game where Sra. Dion says a word and the two people at the board have to swat the word. Whoever swats the word the fastest wins!

The shape of the graph is mostly a bell shaped graph because the two high peaks in the graph.  Many people got fifty to ninety nine and two hundred and over pieces of candy.  I think this is because they receive a lot of candy from trick-or-treating for long hours.  I got 50-99 pieces of candy because I went to a Halloween party and they gave us a lot of candy.  The range is five hundred and forty four pieces of candy.
