Torture

Is it just me or Is candy the best? This time around the candy was torture. This torture was like jail. Most people eat candy In twenty seconds, not this time It took twenty minutes. That Is what I call torture. I could smell the candy, It smelled like the fall with all the fresh air. I love that fresh smell.
First step of this torture was to open the wrapper a tiny sliver. The wrapper Is like fireworks In the sky because the wrapper had different stars and stripes on it. When opening the wrapper seeing the candy made me get all exited. The candy was very squishy and had different lines going through it from me squishing it.
Finally the candy Is out, I cheered with joy. I finally got to see the beloved candy. The candy looked like a cloud In the sky. The biggest torture was when we had to put the candy In our mouth but we could not eat It.
At last we were able to bight down on the candy. I was so happy to finally be able to eat the candy. The candy ended up being horrible. It disappointed me like when you are so happy to be In a playoff game and then you lose.
Most candies are delicious I think. This candy that I ate was the worst candy I had ever eaten. This candy was so bad that It did not even have a name for It. I love most candy but not this piece.

Proportions Project

Ratios, Rates, and Proportions Project

This project was a Ratios, Rates, and Proportions project. In this project we had to pick different topics that added up to fifty points (or fifty five for extra credit). The topics I chose were “Build a Model”, “Plan a Trip”,”Is Buying Bigger Better”, and “Shadow Heights.

I did “Plan a Trip”. I went to Boca Raton, Florida. It was about 1,400 miles from Willmette, Illinois. I had to calculate the gas prices and how long it would take if you go 60 miles per hour. It would take 23 hours and 20 minutes one way. I got that because I set up a proportion with miles it will take and 60 miles per hour.

I liked this project because it was fun and a good experience. My favorite part of the project was “Plan a Trip” because I am going there over spring brake and I like to see how long it would take and how much money.

Number Of Sports That You Play

This histogram is a bell shape graph. Many people's family play four to five sports. My family plays ten to eleven sports. That might be because I have the biggest family. Their is a gap from eight to nine sports played by a family.
