Who Was Walt Disney?

By: Tommy Garbis

Genre: NF

(5 out of 5)

Walter Elias Disney was born in Chicago on December 5, 1901 and died in California on December 15, 1966 age of 65. This story took place in Walts little small house with no running water and no electricity. I liked that at the end of the book, they gave a timeline of the world and a timeline of Walt’s life. I did not like that the people that made the book did not use real pictures, instead, they illustrated the pictures. My favorite character was Walt because even though people thought he was going to be a complete failure because of how he acted as a kid, he became one of the biggest success stories ever. The main character changed by being the dumbest person in the room, to being one of the smartest people of all time. I would recommend this book to a friend that likes jokes and parks because Walt Disney revolutionized parks today.

Book: Ray & Me

By:Dan Gutman

Genre: Fantasy

Have you ever wanted to change something so much that you would travel back in time to do it? Well in the story Ray & Me by Dan Gutman Joe Stoshack uses his special ability to travel back in time to save a guy named Ray Chapman’s life. This story takes place in Louisville Kentucky on a baseball field where Joe was playing a little league baseball game. I liked how in the book, even though it was fantasy, they had real events and real people like Babe Ruth and Harry Houdini. I did not like how in the end of the story, Joe did not end up saving Ray Chapman’s life after he got hit in the head with the baseball. My favorite character was Joe because he had the courage to travel back in time by himself just to try to save an old baseball players life. The main character changed by the end of the story knowing that if you fall down get right back up. I would recommend this book to a friend that enjoys books like time travelling because it is very amusing how he travels through time. I would give this book ⅖*.
