On February 15-16, sixth graders participated in our St. Valentine’s Day Math Mornings, working as teams to solve a variety of math problems. Several of the problems were related to Valentine’s Day, while others were more hands-on in nature. Teams earned points for their on-task behavior & cooperation, as well as for their answers and explanations of work. All the groups finished with tangrams as their final rotation – a fun and challenging finale!
