Math Inventory Test on Wednesday, April 18 – A cumulative test that does NOT count towards your grade but is ONE of the components used to determine placement for next year. It is 45 questions, all multiple choice, and covers Chapters 1-8. A small review might be helpful, but mostly just get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and try your best.

6th Grade Math – Valentine’s Day Math Mornings

On February 15-16, sixth graders participated in our St. Valentine’s Day Math Mornings, working as teams to solve a variety of math problems. Several of the problems were related to Valentine’s Day, while others were more hands-on in nature. Teams earned points for their on-task behavior & cooperation, as well as for their answers and explanations of work. All the groups finished with tangrams as their final rotation – a fun and challenging finale!
