Student Council will be running a holiday bake sale on Wednesday, Dec. 14th during lunchtime. Everything will be $1.00. Money collected will go to fund safety sign(s) outside to remind parents about speed and to not use cell phones while driving around our school. Please stop in and have some treats!

Avoca West participated in a Coin War at school prior to Thanksgiving Break. With outstanding participation from the entire school, we were able to collect over $1,400 for Bernie’s Book Bank!!  You topped last years total by over $300 and will bring the gift of reading to so many kids in our area! The Halloween Tradition Continues at Avoca West!
The annual Halloween Costume Parade will take place at 1:15 p.m. Monday, October 31st.
All parents are invited to watch our parade.  It will be held outdoors, weather permitting – otherwise it will be indoors.
Parties start at 1:45 p.m. for grades 1st-5th.
