    Sideway  Stories  From  Wayside School

    By: Louis Sachar

    Blurb by: Raheel M.

The story is in a place called Wayside School. It was supposed to be built with 30 classrooms in one line on 1 floor but the builder built it 30 stories high with one class on each story and there were only stairs. There was a mean teacher who’s name was Ms. Gorf but then she got turned into an apple and Louis the yard teacher ate the Ms. Gorf apple. When you read it your brains will feel like they have been tickled. I liked when Todd got his name written, circled and checked on the blackboard under the word discipline so he had to get sent to the KG bus every day at 12:00 PM. I didn’t like chapter 19 because since there was no 19th floor in the building, there was no Ms. Zarves and there was no writing. I think you should read this book because it is cool, silly, weird, dramatic and arithmetic at the same time. My favorite character is Mauricia because she is tough and nice at the same time, like when she punched Todd because she liked him and then started saying that she was going to share her lunch with him. The main character was Todd and he changed because in the beginning he didn’t get anything but in the end he started to understand that everything was mixed up.
