Today marks day 10 in our countdown to summer! Each day we will pop a balloon and do a special activity. We are happy to see summer coming, but will miss our friends at the ACP where we have so much fun! This week we played "Math Races" in the block center, officially found frogs (no more froglets!) in our aquarium, went on a Write the Room exploration and celebrated Mrs. Hale's birthday by cooking fruit parfaits! This week we found that our tadpoles turned into froglets!! They are quickly continuing to lose their tails!  They will probably be full frogs by Monday!  The kids also made their own alphabet bingo boards and got to play ABC bingo! The kids went on a letter hunt around the room and found all the letters and put them in order!

Our Mother's Day Tea was a HUGE success!!!  Thank you for all the mothers that were able to come!  Thank you for all that you do!  We hope you have a FANTASTIC Mother's Day! :)

We set up a birthday party at the Dramatic Play center which the kids have loved!  They love pretending it's their birthdays and singing, blowing out candles, and eating cake!  This week was also Miss Naomi's last week of student teaching.  We made her a book of things that we loved about her and gave it to her on her last day.  We also had a mini-party for her!  The kids were very thoughtful and gave her hugs and drew her pictures all day long. :)  Miss Naomi has been a big part of our class for the past couple months and we will miss her!  Hopefully, we will see her again!
