2011-2012 Sixth Grade Required Supplies

* ruler
* scissors
* pencils
* black and red pens
* highlighters
* loose-leaf paper (a generous supply)
* 5 individual spiral notebooks (preferably in different colors)
* colored pencils
* thin-line markers
* 1-inch, 3-ring, hard cover binder with pockets (English)
* 1 set of 5-tab dividers (English)
* 2-inch, zippered 3-ring binder (This binder will be used for all core content classes.)
* zippered case for pencils, pens, calculator, etc. (Cases that fit into the 3-ring binders work well.)
* scientific calculator (If you are going to purchase one, we recommend a TI-34 MultiView by Texas Instruments)
* Avoca gym shirt and shorts (available at Wilmette Bicycle and Sport Shop)– please do not label
* 2 regular-size boxes of facial tissues (to be used in various classrooms)
* set of headphones for use with laptops
* backpack (Must fit into locker- no rolling backpacks, please)

Note Regarding Locks
* Each student should plan to purchase a black Master Lock from the school for $5.00. Please do NOT bring your own. We like to have school locks that can be opened with master key in case students forget their combination. The locks will be available on Orientation Day.

Special Note
* Please label all supplies. Most students prefer to bring them on Orientation Day (August 23, 2011)and set up their locker.
* Some of the supplies will need to be replenished periodically and additional supplies may be required. Please try to be sure that you have the proper supplies throughout the year.
