INTRAMURALS 2011/2012
1. The next intramural activity will be Bowling.
2. The tentative dates are Tuesday, Jan 24th, Tuesday, Feb 7th and Monday Feb. 13th. YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY $8 DOLLARS EACH TIME YOU GO.
3. A bus will take us there at 3:30 (Wilmette Bowing Center on Schiller Ave in Wilmette) and will bring us back to school at 5:00. Tell your parents to pick you up at 5:00.
4. There are only 10 lanes at the bowling alley. Only 20 people will get to go each day. There will be a sheet on the dividing wall that will tell you if you are going. If your name appears on the sheet you are going that day. If you cannot make it you must let me know the day before so I can get another student to go.
Remember, there are no tryouts or cuts in intramurals, and you do not need an athletic permit. Everybody is invited to participate. This year’s activities will likely include flag football, floor hockey, badminton, tennis, bowling, and softball. There will be a sign-up sheet in the gym for each activity. Round robin and elimination tournaments will add extra fun an excitement. In the elimination tournaments there will be consolation games as well. Boys and girls will play an equal number of games. I will make every effort to balance the teams to ensure good competition.
All other activity dates will be posted at a later time. You only have to sign up for the activities in which you want to participate.
This will be a fun experience!
