This ensemble works primarily on high-level performance skills. All music performed is memorized by the violins and the violas. Students concentrate on listening to other sections, adjusting to new performance venues and dealing with the problems of performing music while walking among the audience.We are one of only three junior high Strolling Strings groups in the state. Such groups are usually reserved for high schools. With the number of advanced students we have in our program, we are able to feature an outstanding Strolling Strings ensemble.
