Thank you for visiting the 5th grade page. I am thrilled to be starting my fifth year teaching at Avoca West.  Before coming to Avoca, I previously taught 5th grade in the southern suburbs of Chicago.

I received my Master of Education degree from DePaul University. I have lived in Chicago for seven years.  When I am not teaching, I love to be outside, and take advantage of having beautiful Lake Michigan right outside my door. I enjoy biking and running on the lake, tennis, beach volleyball, skiing, going to Cubs games, and working on crossword puzzles.  I look forward to a very successful year for myself, as well as for my students!
