MUSIC THEORY & HANDCHIMES

Unit 2 in General Music is Music Theory and Handchimes.  Students are enjoying playing the handchimes while experiencing a varied repertoire of music, playing melodies with accompaniments, reading music, listening to, analyzing and describing the music played, and evaluating their music performance. During the theory portion of the unit, students develop their aural skills through learning music concepts of rhythm and melody. Learning basic music reading skills is an important goal of  Unit 2: Music Theory and Handchimes.
