Wax Museum Podcast and Blabberize Videos
Before the wax museum on Friday, you will be creating a Blabberize project to practice your speech. Blabberize is a fun website that allows you to narrate a picture. When you add narration, the mouth of the picture moves. The first step in this project is to find a picture using Google Image Search (this is one of the few times we will be using Google Images this year!) of your wax museum inventor and drag it to your desktop. Then, watch the videos below for the rest of the instructions.
Watch this video to learn how to record and export your wax museum speech as an mp3 file!

This was a really fun project I think the kids will enjoy this a lot next year. My favorite sound effect was me taking a bite out of an apple from the cafeteria.
I liked the project. But the thing I don't like about it is recording my voice because it sounds weird.
I loved the project but i think next year you could have more of a variety of sound effects. I also think you might want to make sound bible unblocked so we can download the sounds. Over all great project.
Something I liked about Foley Art was the sound effects and how they made the poem come alive. It was like I was actually there. I really liked Foley Art.
This project was really fun and exciting. Alexander and I made one. It was fun because we got to make are own sound effects. Awesome
I really liked the foley art project! I never knew that there was a such thing and they actually used it in the movies and stuff! My favorite sound effect in my podcast was the "birds don't sing" listen to it! It's really funny!!!!!!!
I really liked the project but it would really help if we had just a little more time to work on the project though so that we could make it even better.
My favorite sound effect that I used was the bones clanking. We used 2 things for that. Beads in a glass and beads in a tin can.
I learned that foley art was to make our only sounds. I had fun making the project.
Hi Mrs. Zimmer I liked the foley art project because it was very interesting to work with all the sound effects.
It was a very fun project!
It is so cool how you know all of this stuff like the pic of you of Google
Thanks Ms. Zimmer for letting us have fun in class and I had so much fun making this poem. And me and Danielle like working together!
I liked our Foley Art Project because making all the sound effects was fun. My favorite sound effect was the gong.
I really like the project because of the effects we got to use. Like the thunder tube was really cool.
I liked the foley art because it was fun! I didn't know about foley art and it was cool to make the sound effects. My favorite sound effect was the ocean drum.
I really liked this project. My favorite part was the sound effects because they really made it sound real.
This was a really fun project and I hope we have great projects in the future. Keep up the great work of teaching the 5th grade. I also had a lot of fun working with Simone and it would be really fun to work with her again or Esther!
I really liked this project. It was kinda hard to make some sound effects but in all I had fun. I think the kids next year will have fun with this project.
I enjoy this project and the sound effect I just don't really enjoy hearing my voice on the podcast.
I really liked the thunder tube sound effect!
I liked the foley art because of the videos at the beginning and making our own sound effects.
I liked the project a lot and I think that watching the video at the beging where this guy was a pro for foley art and the breaking glass sounded like breaking glass.
I liked how we got to pick a poem. I also liked how we got to use what ever we want to make that sound
I really liked it when we had to think of certain sound affects that would fit into the podcast! I had a great time creating them... My favorite sound was the thunder tube! I don't think anything could make the project better. I also really liked watching the video of Foley Art in the beginning!
I liked how we got to pick our own poems and i liked how we got to use the thunder tube it was a really cool noise.
I loved doing fully art and experimenting with different sounds. It was a little confusing with getting all the sound affects in the right place on garage band. But it was all really fun.
My favorite sound affect was the thunder tube. I thought it was cool to shake it and it made thunder.
It was so much fun!!! I made my favorite sound putting paper clips and pennies into a small tin bin. Then I put the bin in a vase and blew into it!!
Thanks Ms. Zimmer for letting us use your instruments and I had so much fun making the poem.
Hey, Ms. Zimmer
Thank you for having us do this wonderful project!
From, Kelsey
What I liked about the project is that we got to record our voices, then change them in a weird way.
What liked about the project is having to find all the sound effects and doing it over and over just to find the perfect one.
I enjoyed the project with you letting us use the Ocean Drum for sound effects and it was fun recording ourselves on a Garageband
It was so exciting o do this!
Hi Mrs.Zimmer, I liked that we got to make our own sound effects. It was very fun.
Dear Mrs.Zimmer
I loved this project you always make up fun projects My favorite sound effect was probaly getting to use the sound drum.
My favorite part for the podcast was the sound affects. My favorite sound affect was the thunder drum because it sounded very alike like the real sound.
Thank you for letting us make foley art it was very fun.
Why don't we get to do something that is not a poem.
What I liked about the project was that we got to play around with the different everyday objects to make sounds that are creepy for Halloween. The project...could not get any better! It was a blast! I had a lot of fun with my partner and working on Garage Band. Foley art is so cool! My favorite sound effect was probably the ocean drum, but I loved all of the other ones, too.
I really Enjoyed doing foley art!
Thanks for the new account!!!
I enjoy all the fun projects that we do in class!
