Parents are responsible for paying the replacement cost for all lost or stolen textbooks, library books, etc.

Payment for the above fees may be made by cash, check, or credit card, either by mail or online here. Instructional and technology fees may be waived for families demonstrating economic hardship. Fee waivers are accessible online here or can be picked up at any school or the District office. Completed forms should be submitted to the Chief School Business Official for review. Please note that an additional service fee of 3.56% will be charged for all credit and debit card payments.

Extracurricular Activity Fees

There is an extracurricular activity fee of $35 built into the the instructional fees outlined above.  For the 2019-2020 school year, an additional fee is being applied to athletics (basketball, cross county, soccer and volleyball), Band, the school play and Science Olympiad.  The fees are as follows:

 Band $165 Science Olympiad $200
 Basketball $125 Soccer $50
Cross Country $40 Volleyball $95
School Play $140    


Payment for the above fees may be made by cash, check, or credit card, either in person in that Avoca Business Office or by mail using the Extracurricular Activity Fee form.  Fees can also be paid online here.  Please note that an additional service fee of 3.56% will be charged for all credit and debit card payments.

In an effort to not exclude any student from participating in any activity, the Viking Fund has been established.  To apply to receive assistance through the Viking Fund, please submit the Extracurricular Activity Fee Waiver form to the Avoca Business Office located in Marie Murphy School.  Waivers will be granted based on the number of members living in the household, your annual income and the amount available in the Viking Fund.  

If you wish to donate to the Viking Fund, you may do so online or by sending a check or cash to the Avoca Business Office.  Please include the Viking Fund Donation form with your check or cash donation.
