Behavior Expectations

Laptops are school property. They are intended for student use only.
- Students are responsible for device usage.
- Downloads and updates are only allowed with permission.
- Computers can be monitored at anytime.
Laptops must remain in the provided case at ALL times, even at home.
Computers are covered by an extended warranty; however, user damage may not be covered.
- Repair costs not covered by the warranty, are the responsibility of the family.
While at school, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media are blocked. When off of our network, filtering cannot be guaranteed.
- It is recommended parents monitor student use of the devices outside of school.
- Much of the student usage is web based and can be accessed on any device with internet access.
Avoca District 37 will not be responsible for damage or harm to persons, files, data, or hardware.
