Superintendent's Office

Portrait of Dr. Kevin JauchThank you very much for your interest in Avoca School District 37. This is an outstanding educational community! I feel extremely fortunate to have been entrusted by the Board of Education and the Avoca community to serve as superintendent of this impressive school district where students, staff, parents and community members united in a powerful partnership for learning.

The mission of Avoca School District 37 is to provide an education that maximizes the unique potential of each child we serve. These simple, yet powerful, words aptly express our commitment to each Avoca student. Through a dynamic and challenging curriculum, engaging instruction, creative opportunities, a talented staff, involved parents, and eager students, the Avoca school community brings this mission to life on a daily basis.

The District symbol is a lighthouse that shines in two directions. Avoca seeks to be a beacon of light for each child we serve and also a lighthouse district for the educational community beyond our borders. With the help of the entire school community, we will accomplish all we set out to achieve.
