Lunch Program Service Modifications for the 2020-2021 School Year
Quest’s Safety Plan during COVID-19

Quest is ready to welcome you back to the cafeteria! We have spent the summer preparing for safe openings that ensure the safety of our guests and our employees. AVOCA FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM

The program works as follows:

• Available for children 18 and under in the community
•  
Meals are free for all participants
•  District is reimbursed $2.33 per breakfast meal and $4.08 per lunch meal distributed
•  Meals follow the nutritional requirements of the U.S. Department of Agriculture
•  Everyone receives the same meal
•  There will be some accommodation for special dietary needs

Onsite Lunch Service:
•  
Meals will continue to get delivered directly to the classroom
•  All students who want a meal will get one
•  Parents do not have to place an order for the meal
•  Parents do not have to pay for the meal
•  Parents with a child on the hybrid schedule can opt out of the program if they know they are not going to participate at all through December 31, 2020.  You will be asked in December if you want to change your opt out selection for when school resumes in January 2021.

Monday Pick Up:

•  Pre-packaged meals will be available for pick up on Mondays at Marie Murphy School from 8:00-10:00 a.m. and 2:00-4:00 p.m.  You will be able to pull up to the front of Marie Murphy and a staff member will come out to bring out your food.  Please wear your mask while interacting with our staff. 
•  
If your child is on the full remote schedule, there will be 7 breakfast and 7 lunch meals packaged for you.
•  If your child is on the hybrid schedule, there will be 7 breakfast and 3 lunch meals packaged for students onsite four days a week and 7 breakfast and 5 lunch meals packaged for students onsite two days a week.
•  You must sign up to pick up the pre-packaged meals.  You only need to sign up once to let us know you will be doing a weekly pick up.  If you need to make a change to your sign up, you can email Sarai at smoreno@questfms.com
