Avoca is excited to announce that we will continue to offer free breakfast and free lunch for all students for the 2021-2022 academic school year. As the Avoca community continues to recover from the effects from the pandemic, this free meal program – funded via federal COVID relief funds – will benefit many in the school community.

Lunch will be offered free of charge to all enrolled students on school service days only.
Beth Dever was notified on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 that the district is not able to offer breakfast for pick up on Mondays at this time. Quest, our food service company, will continue to try to get approval for this program for Avoca but for now it is on hold. You do not need to fill out an application for free lunch for this year. Also to note, this revised program will operate on-site only and there will no longer be any special pick up days since all the lunch meals will be consumed on site (i.e. no weekend or holiday meals available).

The meals served will provide an array of fruits, vegetables, grains, milk and protein. Well balanced meals made fresh daily by Quest Food Management Services.
