Board of Ed Welcomes New President and VP

After three years, Dr. Sumit Dhar stepped down from his role as President effective in the 2024-25 new school year. We thank Dr. Dhar for his leadership as Board President, and we are grateful to him for his continued service as a Board Member.
Per board Policy 2.110, Dan Seals filled the vacancy on July 18, 2024. Dr. Ami Desai Das was nominated and appointed to fill the Vice Presidency vacancy at the Board of Education meeting on July 18, 2024.
We congratulate and welcome Mr. Seals and Dr. Desai Das to their new roles on the Board.
